On August 27, 2026, athletes took to the water independently for the KT-1 touring single races. Navigating the 200-metre sprint course in single kayaks, the participants demonstrated balance and basic paddling proficiency. Racing on the same lanes utilized by international competitors, the athletes with intellectual disabilities showed their ability to handle individual competition, receiving positive support from the attendees.
