On August 26, 2026, the Malta Regatta Course hosted the KT-2 touring double races. Competing over a 200-metre distance, athletes raced in both Special Olympic and Unified categories—the latter pairing athletes with intellectual disabilities alongside non-disabled partners. The races were integrated into the World Championship schedule, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who assisted with boat logistics and safety. The athletes delivered steady performances, demonstrating good teamwork and paddling skills.
